For Peter Bode Yacht Solutions I created a remote control system for a motorized gangway for luxury yachts (the bridge between ship and land).
Conventional controls are still wired or with a clumsy remote. With Shipenter, the user can control the gangway with a smartphone. The system connects over the normal WiFi network on the yacht. If there is no WiFi on board, the system creates its own network.
With the mobile app, several gangways can be connected and controlled.
The system can be connected to the conventional system so both control systems are functional. In the picture you see a conventional Besenzoni control panel. The Shipenter system gets overruled when the conventional control panel is used or if there is a connection failure.
When the box is closed it is shock- and waterproof. With a build in transformer, the system can be connected to the 24 volts DC energy circuit on a ship or to a regular AC power socket.
